Eligibility
The Health Podcast Awards are free to enter and open to all health podcasts. Producers, hosts/creators, podcast networks, and sponsoring organizations can submit a show.
Podcasts can qualify as finalists in up to two categories. Should a program receive nominations in more than two, it will advance in the two categories with the greatest nomination count.
Podcasts must have been active for at least 6 months and have at least 6 published episodes in 2025. Shows applying for "Best New Podcast" must have at least 6 episodes and the show must have been launched in 2025.
Submitters must indicate their relationship to the podcast in the entry form. If the submitter is not the creator/owner of the podcast, the contact details of the creator/owner must be provided.
The same podcast may not be submitted by more than one entity. Duplicate submissions will be consolidated.

Who should enter?
Health Podcast Awards are open to all creators of accessible, credible health podcasts. Independent podcasters and those affiliated with healthcare organizations, media companies, or podcast networks are eligible. Podcasts must have aired at least six episodes between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
When can I submit my application?
Applications open January 19, 2026.
Does it cost money to enter?
No, it's absolutely free.
What are the categories?
The categories you can enter are listed above. We may add additional categories, so sign up for our newsletter and keep an eye on your inbox!
Do I have to be part of Health Podcast Network to enter?
Absolutely not. Any individual or organization that is creating high-impact, evidence-based, human-centered health podcasts can apply to be recognized. Shows from any network, or no network at all, can enter Health Podcast Awards.
How do I enter?
Start by filling out the form above. You'll receive next steps once you submit the form.
My podcast fits more than one category. What should I do?
You can select up to three categories for your show. On the application, you will be able to have a primary, secondary, and tertiary category. Please prioritize your entry based on what you think fits best.
When will winners be announced?
Awards will be presented at a virtual ceremony in June 2026. Visit our website for the most current timeline. The ceremony is virtual and free to attend.
How can I get involved?

Can sponsors be considered for awards?
Sponsors are invited to support different categories; however, they can't be considered for awards in the categories they sponsor. They will be considered for categories which they are not sponsoring.
